For many, the Army is another career. For Vinay, it was people’s passion – collaborate, co-create, lead and accomplish! There was enough of it and the going was good. A chance misfortune in the family forced him to shun the uniform and move into the corporate fold. That was another challenge but the people’s passion remained the driving force. The climb was fast and experiences and learning enormous. Having self-actualized, it was time to move on, share the experiences and help others. Col. Vinay Verma, Director& Principal Consultant

Vinay has 44 years of valuable & verifiable experience in the defense services & the corporate sector. He served the Indian Army in critical command & staff appointments, took active part in two wars and finally hung his boots in 1991 to seek a career in the corporate sector. A reasonably long stint in the Army saw his Head (IQ), Heart (EQ) & Hand (Doing) realmsfully developing which also contributed to his speedy climb on the corporate ladder. He has served in the corporate sector for 18 years as Vice President, Executive Vice President & Director Human Capital in prestigious organisations, in diverse business sectors, such as Information Technology, Finance, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Education &an NGO. He has also been the CEO of large real estate projects with project outlay ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 3000 crores. As such he brings with him a unique combination of large & small organisational perspective with interesting cross-functional exposure.

His key skills lie in Organisational Restructuring, Vision Articulation & Alignment, Leadership Development, Performance Management based on Balanced Score Card, Designing HR Architecture & Mentoring Process for Organisations, Employee Engagement, Organisational Development & Change Management. He has successfully driven organisational vision alignment, PCMM implementation & employee engagement levels in several organisations during his corporate career. Several organisations of varying sizes have benefited from Vinay’s expertise.He has been a visiting faculty to leading business schools at Mumbai &Pune for several years, has conducted management workshops in large corporates& has guest lectured at high powered HR workshops within India & abroad. He is widely travelled& is an avid golfer.

Vinay is an Honours Graduate, Post Graduate in Strategy Management, Graduate of the Defence Services Staff College Wellington & holds an MBA degree from FMS Delhi. He is a certified facilitator in Leadership Development by Worlds View Consulting (South Africa), a certified Executive Coach from Results Coaching Systems (Australia) & accredited by the International Coaching Federation (USA).He has 800 hours of Coaching & Mentoring experience.
